Bench-top electroplating trainer kit is a design platform to train and improve employability skills of graduates of tertiary institutions which include Universities, Polytechnics and Monotechnics as well as artisans on the trade of electroplating. Also, it can be adopted by SMEs to electroplate smaller articles. The trainer is powered by solar energy with battery cell capacity 12 volt/200 amp, all other components and accessories were assembled and tested successfully. At optimal operating conditions the workpiece plated using the trainer was in conformity with the standard industrial grade plated work piece
